Operator and contact
Vila Ștefana services are provided by SUCIU PAULA ÎNTREPRINDERE INDIVIDUALĂ, tax ID 26376395, trade register F32/17/2010. Registered office: str. Cornel Medrea nr. 11, village and commune of Șelimbăr, Sibiu County, postcode 557260, Romania. Identification details were checked through the public ANAF service on 26 October 2026. The accommodation is in Păltiniș, Platoș area, Sibiu County, separately from the operator’s registered office. For offers, confirmations and complaints: contact@vilastefana.ro, 0722 669 160. Enquiry and confirmation
The online form sends a request without any obligation to pay. Acknowledgement does not confirm availability or guarantee accommodation. The owner checks the dates, arrangements for adults and children, services and price, then sends the full offer. A booking is guaranteed after the offer is accepted, the deposit is paid within the communicated deadline and the owner confirms in writing. Do not pay before receiving these instructions.
Price, deposit and additional services
Calculator amounts are accommodation estimates. Before acceptance, the offer specifies the total price, applicable taxes, included services and any additional costs. The deposit equals the first night’s rate unless the accepted offer provides a more favourable condition for the guest. The balance is paid at check-in in accordance with the offer. Payment method and deadline are communicated in writing. Hot-tub pricing is agreed for each booking; it is included only when stated in the accepted offer. We accept payment with all types of holiday cards.
Rooms and children
Family rooms have a double bed and bunk beds in a separate room, for families with children. Accommodation for children and sleeping arrangements are agreed before confirmation, within the licensed capacity. The online form is limited to the places verified for this booking method. Extra beds are not automatically licensed or included places. Any arrangement for children must comply with the classification documents and safety rules.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Request cancellation in writing at contact@vilastefana.ro, quoting the booking number. The deposit is refunded for cancellations at least 14 calendar days before check-in. For later cancellations by the guest, the first-night deposit is retained under the conditions communicated; rescheduling may be agreed in writing, subject to availability. This retention rule does not apply if the host cannot provide the service. The deadline is calculated relative to the check-in time in the Europe/Bucharest time zone. Refunds due under this policy are made within 14 calendar days of confirmation of cancellation and receipt of the details needed for payment. Rescheduling and any price difference require both parties’ written agreement. No-show and early-departure conditions are specified in the accepted offer. If the host cannot provide the service, the guest is offered an acceptable alternative or a refund for services not provided, without limiting other legal rights.
Withdrawal from the contract
Accommodation for a specific date or period is exempt from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(l) of Romanian Emergency Ordinance 34/2014. The cancellation policy above is separate and does not limit consumer rights if services are not performed.
Arrival, departure and quiet hours
Check-in from 16:00; check-out by 11:00. Changes must be agreed beforehand, subject to availability. Quiet hours: 22:00–08:00 and 13:00–14:00. Neighbours’ peace must also be respected when renting the whole villa, including outdoors. Events and use of audio equipment must be agreed beforehand and do not permit exceptions to legal rules.
Using the facilities
Adults must supervise children in the courtyard, playground, bunk beds and hot tub. Follow instructions and equipment limits. Do not use the hot tub until the host has prepared it and made it available. Supervise barbecues and fires and extinguish them after use. Smoking is prohibited indoors; the host indicates permitted outdoor areas. Pets require prior written agreement. Use of the three-phase socket requires confirmation of compatibility, accessories and cost. These rules do not exclude the operator’s legal liability.
Damage and complaints
Any damage is identified and documented, communicated to the guest and assessed proportionately to the proven loss. Guests may raise objections. Contact the host promptly about any problem so it can be remedied. Written complaints may be sent to contact@vilastefana.ro with the booking number and a description. ANPC consumer protection and SAL alternative dispute resolution mechanisms are also available, without restricting access to the courts.
